What's required to join a Med2UK programme 

A Doctor or other Medical Professional wishing to join a Med2UK programme must provide proof of specific skills, qualifications and citizenship. These include:

  1. Proof of medical qualifications and clinical excellence
  2. Up to date CV with no gaps
  3. Two Current References (one must be from your most recent employer and within last 12 months)
  4. If you are an EU passport holder, then a copy of your Passport
  5. If you're not an EU citizen, then copy of your Right to Work or Visa Stamp
  6. Excellent English speaking and written skills. Ideal applicants will already hold certificates for:
    1. Academic IELTS test and scored grade 7 or above, or;
    2. UBELT test and scored 3.5 or above. These grades need to be acquired in all sections of the examination, not just as an overall score, or;
    3. Trinity College Certificate in Integrated Skills in English (ISE 3), or;
    4. London Chamber of Commerce Institute (LCCIEB - Levels 3 & 4.

      Please note that these tests should be taken within 18 months of applying to Med2UK.

i.e. if applying to Med2UK on 1st July 2011, your certificates should be dated from 1st January 2010 onwards.
